What age do I register for?
Answer: You register for your true age group. We are completely aware that some players are playing up and wish to continue playing up, however, for tryout purposes you must register for the true age group initially and then we make the adjustments
If the age group tryout is on a different week then the team I want to tryout for, which week do I attend?
Answer: You will attend the tryout that you are WANTING to play for.
What if I cannot make dates for my tryout?
Answer: Please attend the make up day of the other tryout letting us know when you arrive the reasoning.
Are tryouts required to make a team?
Answer: Yes, you must tryout in order to make a team.
What is the cost of the tryout and does it mean I am tied to the club?
Answer: No, tryouts are free of charge. We simply ask you to register to better prepare for the numbers coming in and so that we can send out acceptance letters.
Do I have to play or pay if I make the team?
Answer: Not necessarily. While receiving an acceptance letter means you've been offered a spot on a Pike Fury FC travel team, you are not obligated to either play for that team or pay the associated fees unless you formally accept the team placement. If you choose to decline the travel team offer and instead play for another club or remain with our recreational teams, payment for the Pike Fury FC travel team is not required. However, if you accept the offered position on the Pike Fury FC travel team, then the payment obligations as outlined in our Payment Policy (PSF007) will apply, including the immediate payment of initial fees.
If I don't make the team what is the next step?
Answer: Depending on the situation, we will contact you for options rather that be another age group (if you qualify), provide information on other select clubs if that is something you want, or provide you information on recreational if you are looking to still play
