PCHS Pirates victorious in season opener

DUBLIN, GA - PCHS Pirates Varsity Boys and Girls soccer teams defeated the West Laurens Raiders in a season opening scrimmage Friday, January 29th on a cold, soggy evening. The Girls Varsity team easily handled the Raiders with a 10-0 victory with multiple goals from senior Livi O'Steen. The Boys Varsity found themselves in a scrappy game that ended early with several cards given. The Pirates got an early lead and never gave it up, defeating the Raider boys 7-2, with goals from Matt Webb, Ozzie O'Steen, Christian Fowler and others. The Pirates will head to Barnesville on Monday, Feb 1st to play in the Trojan Cup.
